The Barack Obama Foundation (BOF) is hiring a Development Analyst, International to join our International Development team. In this role, you will provide essential administrative and operational support to enable the team to focus on fundraising and advancing our global mission to inspire, empower, and connect people to change their world.
What You'll Do
- Accurately and promptly enter team data into Salesforce and construct formatted reports.
- Draft, edit, and submit error-free briefing materials for external donor meetings.
- Track next steps and ensure completion for select projects, including support of regional donor circles.
- Assist in tracking and managing regional fundraising events, including invites, RSVPs, and follow-up.
- Manage calendars for regional team members to ensure focus on highest priorities.
- Conduct background research on prospects as needed.
- Draft meeting agendas, disseminate them, and track action steps.
- Support special projects such as European Advisory Council communications, creating prospect tracking systems, and preparing thank-you notes.
What We're Looking For
- Project management experience to effectively plan and execute short and long-term projects.
- Proven proactive communication and collaboration to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Previous Salesforce or other fundraising database experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience working with an international constituency (outside the United States).
- Knowledge of other languages is a plus.

You will be a member of the Development team, specifically the International Development team, and will report directly to the Chief of Staff, Development.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation range: $51,965 and $64,980.
Work Mode
This is a local, in-office position based in Chicago.
