Wipro is looking for a Developer L4 to join our team as a Senior Fullstack TypeScript Engineer. You will build and operate mission-critical insurance applications on AWS, taking responsibility for the full software development lifecycle in a modern, digital transformation environment.
What You'll Do
- Understand requirements and design of the product or software.
- Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
- Investigate problem areas, facilitate root cause analysis, and follow the software development life cycle.
- Identify ideas to improve system performance and availability.
- Analyze client requirements and convert them to feasible design, collaborating with functional teams on software needs.
- Perform coding and ensure optimal software/module development, evaluating operational feasibility.
- Develop and automate processes for software validation by designing and executing test cases.
- Modify software to fix errors, adapt to new hardware, improve performance, or upgrade interfaces.
- Ensure code is error-free, test for failures, and document all changes as per defined norms.
- Prepare reports on programming project specifications, activities, and status.
- Coordinate with the team on daily project status and progress, providing feedback on usability and serviceability.
- Capture all requirements and clarifications from the client and take regular feedback to ensure smooth, on-time delivery.
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current.
- Consult with engineering staff on software-hardware interfaces and specifications.
- Document solutions with flowcharts, diagrams, charts, and clear code.
- Ensure quality interaction with customers regarding communication and issue tracking, responding timely to requests.
What We're Looking For
- Senior fullstack TypeScript engineer with experience on AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience in TypeScript using Next.js and Nest.js frameworks.
- Knowledge and experience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with AWS ECS and Terraform.
- Good understanding of AWS Eventbridge and AWS SNS.
- Working knowledge of GitHub Actions as a CI/CD tool.
- Experience with React JS.
- Self-starter with a natural inclination to lead.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Postgres via AWS Aurora and DynamoDB.
- Knowledge or experience of TypeORM.
