About the Role
This position is responsible for delivering hands-on technical support to end users, managing desktop infrastructure, resolving system issues, and contributing to the stability and efficiency of the organization's IT environment.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve desktop-related technical problems
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers and peripherals
- Support operating system deployments and updates
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues on workstations
- Manage user accounts and desktop access permissions
- Respond to helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory
- Perform system backups and recovery operations
- Support remote workers with endpoint connectivity
- Assist with printer, scanner, and peripheral setup
- Deploy security patches and software updates
- Monitor endpoint performance and stability
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level teams
- Document technical procedures and resolutions
- Ensure compliance with internal IT policies
- Support onboarding of new employees with device setup
- Handle offboarding tasks including device retrieval
- Participate in workstation standardization efforts
- Assist with mobile device support when needed
- Provide guidance on safe computing practices
- Coordinate with vendors for hardware repairs
- Maintain clean and organized cabling and workspaces
- Support software license compliance tracking
- Assist in testing new desktop technologies
- Contribute to disaster recovery preparedness
Compensation
Competitive hourly rate based on experience
Work Arrangement
Hybrid with some on-site presence required

Part of the internal IT support team serving company-wide users

Physical Requirements
