Responsibilities
- Act as the primary IT contact for the region, offering direct support for Windows, macOS, and Linux desktop and laptop environments
- Provide daily desktop support including device configuration, software deployment, system updates, and issue resolution
- Identify and resolve advanced technical problems spanning operating systems, network connectivity, and software applications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot, refine, and document development processes and toolchains
- Support engineering-specific applications such as compilers, IDEs, and version control systems to maintain stable operations
- Administer user identities, access rights, and permissions across enterprise platforms
- Monitor system performance proactively, deploy updates, and enforce endpoint security standards
- Escalate unresolved issues to global IT teams or external vendors to ensure timely fixes
- Educate and assist users on IT policies and the use of new software tools
- Support ongoing service improvements by analyzing recurring issues and proposing sustainable solutions
