Capgemini is looking for a Junior Aeronautical Design Engineer to join the concessions area within a major international aerospace project. In this role, you will help evaluate non-conformities, prepare parts and technical documentation, and define structural repairs as part of a multidisciplinary team.
What You'll Do
- Evaluate and analyze non-conformities derived from manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Prepare parts and structural elements in composite and metallic materials.
- Develop technical justifications for repair documentation.
- Perform Repair Engineering by proposing the appropriate repair procedure.
- Provide technical support to multidisciplinary teams (Design, Fatigue, Manufacturing, etc.).
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
- Spanish is essential.
- Proficiency in CATIA (Mechanical Design, Assembly, Drafting, Sheetmetal modules).
- Knowledge of Airbus Product Management documentation.
- Understanding of Airbus standards and regulations.
Nice to Have
- Master's degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering.
- Master's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering.
- English at a B2/C1 level: advanced reading, writing, and comprehension; fluent conversation is desirable.
- Programming skills in VBA / Python.
- Experience in Structural Design (metallic and composite materials).
- Experience in Repairs (SRM - Service Repair Manual).
- Experience in Repair Engineering.
- Experience in Programming.
