Design Engineer – AI Enablement role based in Jupiter, FL, supporting capital design teams by embedding AI into engineering workflows. This is a 6-month contract position focused on accelerating AI adoption through coaching, prompt engineering, and workflow standardization, without assuming design authority.
Responsibilities
- Work side‑by‑side with engineers on active design work to demonstrate practical AI use
- Support creation of reusable prompts, templates, and bounded AI agents in consideration of engineering workflows
- Help translate successful use cases into repeatable team practices
- Track and report adoption, agent development, and quality/rework indicators
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering equivalent experience supporting engineering design deliverables accepted
- Familiarity with engineering documents and workflows in an industrial or regulated environment
- Comfortable with AI and digital productivity tools
