WECTEC Staffing Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Westinghouse Electric Company LLC, is hiring a Design Engineer – AI Enablement for a 6-month W-2 contract based in Jupiter, FL. This role focuses on supporting capital design teams, embedding with engineers to help apply AI to everyday engineering work, including design packages, specifications, calculations support, technical bids, and vendor input validation.
What You'll Do
- Work side-by-side with engineers on active design work to demonstrate practical AI use
- Support creation of reusable prompts, templates, and bounded AI agents in consideration of engineering workflows
- Help translate successful use cases into repeatable team practices
- Track and report adoption, agent development, and quality/rework indicators
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience supporting engineering design deliverables
- Familiarity with engineering documents and workflows in an industrial or regulated environment
- Comfortable with AI and digital productivity tools
