Responsibilities
- Provides operational support of DERMS applications to ensure system uptime, optimum performance, perform upgrades and patching, and security.
- Analyze DERMS data to provide insights that improve grid performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Support the integration of DERMS with SCADA, and other utility systems.
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess DERMS effectiveness.
- Work with large datasets to support decision-making and optimization of distributed energy resources.
- Implement automated analytics to enhance DER forecasting and load balancing.
- Develop dashboards and reports using BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Work with engineers, IT teams, and member owners to improve DERMS functionality.
- Ensure DERMS solutions comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Identify, develop and facility end-user training.
