Bethel is seeking a Deputy Area Management for its decentralized Supported Living services in Eckardtsheim. This is an initially fixed-term position for 2 years with the option for a permanent contract. You will play a key role in supporting the Area Manager in steering operational workflows and organizational processes within a Christian value-oriented environment.
What You'll Do
- Support the Area Manager in controlling workflows and organizational processes.
- Act as a deputy for the Area Manager during absences, participating in events and actively contributing to committees and projects.
- Collaborate on the conceptual, personnel, and economic further development of the service.
- Strengthen cooperation with other specialist services and network partners.
- Share responsibility for preparing, conducting, and following up on regular team meetings.
- Provide professional guidance to employees and participate in case consultations and supervision.
- Get to know clients and support their perspective development.
- Advocate for the active participation of clients.
- Oversee buildings and residential units.
- Support team members in planning and executing move-ins and move-outs.
What We're Looking For
- A completed university or college degree in social or health care (e.g., as a social worker or social pedagogue).
- Solid knowledge in integration assistance for people with addiction and/or psychiatric illnesses.
- Community-oriented and participation-centered action in line with the goals of the German Social Code (BTHG).
- A structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working.
- Commitment to the establishment, expansion, and conceptual further development of the institution.
- Foresight, quick comprehension, organizational talent, and flexibility.
- Authenticity and integrity.
- Solid knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Interest in familiarizing yourself with new documentation software.
