Role Overview
As a Deployment Strategist, you will lead the full deployment lifecycle for our customers, ensuring their success from initial planning through go-live. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, operational realities, and success criteria, then shape those insights into a clear, actionable deployment plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate discovery workshops to identify customer goals, constraints, and performance indicators.
- Develop deployment roadmaps, project plans, and governance frameworks tailored to each engagement.
- Act as the main liaison between the customer and internal teams throughout the deployment process.
- Coordinate efforts across Implementation Specialists, Forward Deployed Engineers, and Customer Success Managers to maintain alignment and progress.
- Monitor project risks, dependencies, and timelines, escalating when needed to keep initiatives on track.
- Deliver regular updates to stakeholders on both sides, ensuring transparency and clarity.
- Ensure system configurations and custom integrations support the customer’s strategic objectives.
- Lead user acceptance testing and drive readiness activities ahead of launch.
- Support a seamless handoff to ongoing customer success teams post-deployment.
- Document insights from each deployment to improve future processes and scalability.
Qualifications
You bring 4–6 years of experience in SaaS implementation, project management, or customer-facing consulting roles. You excel at turning complex, ambiguous challenges into structured plans and thrive when communicating across technical and executive audiences. You’re adept at building repeatable processes in fast-moving environments.
Preferred candidates are driven by delivering tangible results, enjoy enabling collaboration across functions, and balance strategic vision with hands-on execution. You’re motivated to create scalable playbooks, not just follow them.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with flexibility in scheduling and location. While the organization is remote-first, office hubs are available in NYC, San Francisco, and Portland, ME. You’ll be part of a small, high-impact team dedicated to solving urgent climate challenges through technology and field partnerships.

The company supports schedule flexibility and operates with a remote-first culture, emphasizing accountability and mission alignment.
