Pylon is looking for a Deployment Strategist to be responsible for migrating new customers from their old support systems onto our platform. You will act as their primary problem-solver and product expert, combining direct customer interaction with building and automating solutions.
What You'll Do
- Migrate new customers from legacy support systems (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom) to Pylon.
- Run customer migration meetings within your first week.
- Communicate directly with customers as their main problem-solver as they rebuild processes and data.
- Become a deep product expert, guiding customers to the right solution and teaching them as needed.
- Contribute to pre-sales calls as the expert for potential technical solutions.
- Develop expertise in Pylon and the systems migrated from.
- Juggle multiple customer migrations simultaneously and drive them to completion.
- Iteratively improve the migration process.
What We're Looking For
- Located in (or willing to relocate to) San Francisco and excited about working in-person.
- Very organized, hard-working, and fast, with the ability to juggle many migrations at once.
- Detail-oriented fast learner who can become the product expert in many tools quickly.
- An interest in tinkering with the product and suggesting improvements.
- A former Software Engineer (SWE) who understands automation ('do something once, automate it, never do it again').
