Belden is looking for a Demand Generation Representative to identify and engage potential stakeholders as part of our pre-funnel strategy in the United States. This inside position builds new business opportunities by qualifying leads and passing sales-ready prospects into our sales pipeline.
What You'll Do
- Establish viable opportunities through probing and solutions-based questions.
- Contact prospective customers via phone, email, and LinkedIn messaging.
- Evaluate lead quality by assessing need, timing, and investment plans.
- Identify key stakeholders within each prospective customer.
- Inform prospects of Belden’s solutions and gauge interest.
- Score opportunities per defined MEDICC Criteria.
- Implement and maintain lead generation strategies using data from Salesforce.com.
- Schedule meetings and hand off sales-qualified opportunities to sales representatives.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to assess lead quality and refine processes.
- Identify patterns of success to build efficiencies.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a lead generation specialist.
- Proficiency with CRM software.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high comfort in phone-based interaction.
- Strong web-based computer skills, including search engines, Salesforce.com, LinkedIn, and other prospecting tools.
- Competitive mindset and passion for customer acquisition, engagement, and market growth.
- Ability to quickly build professional rapport via telephone and email.
- Sales-oriented, goal-oriented, self-starting, and able to deal with ambiguity.
- Proven ability to get results and meet commitments.
- Ability to work individually and in a team.
- English fluency to business standard.
