SmartRecruiters Inc is hiring a Delivery Associate for Keewest Logistics, an Amazon Delivery Service Partner. You will safely drive a company vehicle to deliver packages on time and provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
What You'll Do
- Successfully handle and deliver packages on time.
- Safely drive and perform safety inspections on a company vehicle.
- Follow all local, state, and company driving regulations and policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful conditions.
- Keep pace in a physically demanding job, working in all weather conditions.
- Lift packages up to 70 lbs (dolly provided).
- Get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations.
- Communicate effectively with your support team to ensure deliveries are completed.
- Use a smartphone for GPS navigation, scanning packages, and administrative tasks like clocking in/out.
- Load and unload packages in the delivery vehicle.
- Support the team with daily work, including participation in rescue calls to assist other team members.
What We're Looking For
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a valid Kentucky driver's license.
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to Have
- Willingness to relocate before starting work.
Technical Stack
- Handheld technology and smartphone devices for GPS navigation and package scanning.
Benefits & Compensation
- Compensation: $21.50 per hour.
- Weekly pay.
- 3 days of paid training.
- 4-day workweek (Saturday OR Sunday required).
- A minimum of 2 paid 15-minute breaks and 1 unpaid 30-minute meal break per shift.
