About Ergonia Ergonia is a blockchain-focused trading organization with extensive expertise across decentralized and centralized financial ecosystems. We manage some of the most advanced, high-volume trading infrastructures in decentralized finance and actively engage across major centralized trading platforms. Our operations encompass market making, yield optimization, and sophisticated on-chain transaction strategies. We're recruiting a DeFi Engineer to help us expand across additional blockchain networks, protocols, and innovative trading methodologies. You'll collaborate closely with traders, quantitative analysts, and technical teams in a dynamic, high-performance environment. What You'll Do On-Chain Data + Execution - Construct systems for capturing high-volume, minimal-latency blockchain information - Transmit and manage transactions within performance-critical environments Smart Contract / On-Chain Program Development - Design, implement, and deploy enterprise-grade smart contracts on Solana or EVM platforms System & Architecture Design - Contribute to comprehensive exchange, execution, and data-pipeline architectural frameworks Pragmatic Delivery - Trading evolves rapidly. You should feel comfortable making decisions with incomplete information, managing complex trade-offs, and delivering functional systems under tight deadlines. We value engineers who can prioritize critical elements, move swiftly, and successfully implement solutions. An ability to perform under pressure Remote Work Essentials - Maintain reliable high-speed internet and an appropriate workstation configuration for sustained development and communication Requirements Qualifications Experience - 4+ years of software development - 2+ years working in decentralized finance - Demonstrated delivery of production-ready DeFi systems on Solana or EVM platforms Knowledge - Comprehensive understanding of decentralized finance mechanics, trading systems, spot/margin trading, and on-chain execution processes Mindset - Self-motivated, highly proactive, and comfortable operating in rapidly changing environments - Excellent communication capabilities in English Bonus Points - Experience with blockchain runtime or transaction-pipeline optimization techniques - Proven track record managing high-volume transactions on Solana or EVM - Background in market making or high-frequency trading strategies
