About the Role

The role involves identifying and securing new business opportunities for Datadog services, engaging with prospects, guiding technical evaluations, and closing deals in alignment with regional sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities across industries
  • Build relationships with decision-makers in enterprise organizations
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client infrastructure needs
  • Present tailored solutions based on customer monitoring requirements
  • Collaborate with technical teams to support proof-of-concept deployments
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead to contract closure
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions in CRM

  • Attend industry events and networking forums to expand reach
  • Stay informed about cloud observability trends and competitor offerings
  • Coordinate with marketing on lead generation campaigns
