Job Summary The Data Science Analyst delivers technical support facilitating learner access and navigation of digital training platforms. The Specialist acts as a critical interface between end-users and the learning management system. Under direct supervision, this role encompasses diverse operational responsibilities, including collecting, organizing, and analyzing information from internal and external data systems, with responsibilities spanning data manipulation, statistical applications, programming, analysis, and computational modeling. Responsibilities - Monitor and respond promptly to support communication channels - Provide clear, empathetic, and timely assistance to learners via communication mediums - Diagnose platform issues and strategically escalate or redirect to appropriate team resources - Collaborate with platform support teams to identify, document, and resolve technical challenges - Identify and communicate systemic patterns or recurring concerns - Engage closely with technology leadership, learning specialists, and program administrators to enhance learner support - Contribute to interdepartmental projects involving data entry, communication, or technological assistance - Conduct analytical research supporting various programmatic initiatives - Potentially assist academic personnel with advanced data processes and computational modeling - Gather, organize, and analyze information from diverse data repositories - Maintain and evaluate statistical models utilizing machine learning best practices - Execute supplementary tasks as organizational needs arise Minimum Qualifications Education: Undergraduate degree in related discipline required Work Experience: Less than 2 years of professional experience in comparable roles Preferred Qualifications Experience: - Digital learning platform familiarity Technical Skills: - Platform and customer support system knowledge Preferred Competencies - Superior communication capabilities - Technical information translation skills - Learner success commitment - Technological adaptability - Organizational proficiency - Collaborative and independent work approach Application Documents - Resume/CV - Cover Letter Job Details Job Family: Research Role Impact: Individual Contributor Weekly Hours: 40 Pay Rate: Hourly Compensation Range: $24.04 - $31.25 Benefits Eligible: Yes Equal Opportunity Employer Statement Included
