Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain executive-facing materials such as presentations, dashboards, and progress reports that clearly convey the impact and status of data and analytics initiatives.
- Ensure consistency in agile practices across approximately six data and AI teams, including standardized sprint cycles and ceremonies within Azure DevOps.
- Advise Data Product Managers on prioritizing backlog items by business value, minimizing low-impact requests and promoting a value-driven backlog structure.
- Serve as the main liaison between delivery teams and business executives, aligning expectations on timelines, priorities, and deliverables across all data workstreams.
- Collaborate on people management tasks, including recruitment support, interview participation, absence oversight, and contributing to team members' growth and engagement.
- Step into the Product Data Manager role when necessary, guiding product-level decisions and ensuring data products are built with clear business value.
- Foster cross-team visibility and collaboration among internal and external data teams to reduce silos and improve portfolio-wide coordination.
- Support the development of data governance frameworks, including the implementation of AIOps, PI planning, and unified agile models across teams.
- Proactively identify risks, capacity constraints, and delivery blockers, escalating issues appropriately and recommending corrective actions.
- Quickly gain comprehensive understanding of the enterprise's data environment—including teams, tools, stakeholders, and strategic goals—and maintain current institutional knowledge.
Requirements
- Fluent English communication skills (C1 level or higher) in reading, writing, and speaking, required for this position.
- Demonstrated background in data product or data management roles, with progression toward strategic or portfolio-level responsibilities.
- Strong portfolio management orientation with the ability to oversee multiple concurrent initiatives and maintain a strategic perspective.
- Hands-on experience with agile frameworks such as Scrum or SAFe, including sprint planning, PI planning, and backlog refinement.
- Experience using Azure DevOps or comparable tools for project and delivery tracking.
- Proven ability to create executive-level presentations and explain complex data projects to non-technical audiences.
- Solid leadership and interpersonal abilities, with experience building trusted relationships in multi-vendor and high-expectation environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience working in large CPG or FMCG organizations or similarly complex enterprise settings.
- Familiarity with data architecture components such as ETL pipelines, dashboards, and machine learning pipelines, sufficient for informed discussions.
- Experience coordinating data initiatives involving multiple vendors or consulting partners.
- Understanding of AI and machine learning project lifecycles and methods for measuring business impact from analytics.
- Exposure to OKR frameworks or value-based roadmap planning approaches.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools at the product ownership level.
