St Vincent’s Health Australia is seeking a Data Manager/Administration Team Leader to play a crucial role within our prison health service. You will be responsible for the development, management, and reporting of data to support service planning, performance monitoring, and contractual obligations. This senior leadership position involves overseeing the efficient day-to-day operations of a small administrative team and ensuring high-quality data governance across the service.
What You'll Do
- Support the implementation of patient-centred referral and booking systems between the prison health service and specialist clinics.
- Design and maintain data collection systems to accurately capture departmental activity, outputs, and performance metrics.
- Develop and oversee daily operational procedures for the administration team to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
- Manage core administrative functions, including staff leave, HR coordination, staff orientation, office operations, and meeting scheduling.
- Coordinate internal and external communications, fostering effective information flow between the prison health service, the hospital, Justice Health, and other partners.
- Lead and support the administrative team, promoting a positive team culture.
- Design, improve, and streamline reporting processes; maintain and enhance databases; and ensure compliance with organisational KPIs.
- Deliver accurate monthly and quarterly data analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making.
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated ability to lead a broad range of administrative support functions and junior administrative staff, including conducting performance reviews.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to determine workload priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Advanced computer and technology skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work with a range of key stakeholders to develop effective relationships and partnerships.
- Demonstrated skills in coordinating meetings and events, including preparing agendas, minute-taking, and organising venues and catering.
- A current National criminal history check, or willingness to obtain one.
