About the Role

DataGalaxy is looking for a Data Governance Consultant to ensure our customers achieve ongoing success and satisfaction. You will proactively manage relationships, working closely with clients to understand their needs, address issues, and maximize the value they get from our product.

What You'll Do

  • Manage a client portfolio in collaboration with Account Managers.
  • Support clients daily in their use of the product.
  • Analyze and prioritize client needs.
  • Assist with implementation and best practice guidance.
  • Ensure client loyalty and increase account revenue through upselling.
  • Answer technical and product questions to help clients get the most value.
  • Evaluate user experience and recommend improvements.
  • Contribute to strategic account committees.
  • Audit, analyze, and document use cases to provide insights for internal teams and clients.
  • Monitor platform usage indicators and customer satisfaction metrics to drive retention and growth.
  • Collaborate with the Product team on customer feedback and requests.
  • Create and maintain content, deliverables, and best practice guides.
  • Manage and animate the user community through on-site and virtual User Groups.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within data and information management (e.g., data governance, data quality).
  • Strong ability to assess the Data Governance market and articulate DataGalaxy's unique value.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis and measurement techniques.
  • Expertise in data modelling and inter-application architecture.
  • Fluency in English and French.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and simplify complex concepts for various stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to understand customer needs.
  • Business-oriented mindset to demonstrate the solution's added value.
  • Customer and service-oriented approach.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of teamwork.
  • Exceptional customer relationship management skills.
  • Pedagogical, well-organized, detail-oriented, and autonomous.

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases, Business Intelligence (ETL), and Data Visualization (REST API).
