Charge Robotics was looking for a Data Entry: BOM Cleanup

Charge Robotics is looking for a Data Entry: BOM Cleanup specialist for a focused, short-term project. You will be instrumental in organizing and standardizing our Bill of Materials, a critical foundation for our robotics hardware. This role is fully remote, asynchronous, and requires a commitment of 20-40 total hours to be completed within a 2-4 week window.

What You'll Do

  • Enter and scrub part data by populating property tables in Onshape with part numbers, descriptions, vendors, and other metadata.
  • Verify consistency and catch errors by cross-checking entries across the Bill of Materials and flagging discrepancies.
  • Document your process by keeping a simple log of completed batches, issues found, and questions for the team.

What We're Looking For

  • Fluency and efficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filtering, and simple formulas.
  • Prior data-entry experience such as invoice coding, CRM cleanup, or similar tasks.
  • Clear written communication skills and the ability to proactively surface bottlenecks.
  • Ability to finish the project within the agreed 2-4 week window.

Nice to Have

  • Experience using Onshape or another CAD system, with an understanding of custom properties, part numbers, and revisions.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing Bills of Materials and/or PDM/PLM platforms.
