Jobgether is hiring a Data Engineer II to shape our data ecosystem by designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. You will partner with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate complex requirements into enterprise-grade data models and dashboards.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines and ETL frameworks to support analytics and reporting.
- Translate business requirements into technical data solutions, acting as a liaison between stakeholders and the Data & Analytics team.
- Architect enterprise-grade data models, dashboards, and semantic layers using tools like Power BI, Looker, or Tableau.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance across all platforms and solutions.
- Foster a culture of self-service analytics and data literacy throughout the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact data solutions for strategic initiatives.
- Mentor and guide team members, delegate work, and support project management as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with proven experience in complex data projects.
- Advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern data pipeline tools (e.g., Azure Data Factory, dbt, Apache Airflow).
- Proficiency in at least one BI platform (Power BI, Looker, Tableau), including dashboard development and semantic modeling.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
- Python or other scripting languages.
- CI/CD experience.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
