H2 Performance Consulting is hiring a Data Center System Administrator to provide comprehensive IT system support for our client at White Sands Missile Range in Alamogordo, New Mexico. You will be responsible for the full lifecycle support of hardware and software within the data center environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide support in all phases of installation, configuration, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and tools.
- Deliver server, desktop, software, and peripheral planning and support, including imaging services, release management, and password management.
- Provide Tier 3 and 4 level support for all designated IT systems within your area of responsibility.
- Perform Password Control Management, including issuing, maintaining, and deleting end-user accounts.
- Install, integrate, and maintain system servers and workstations, including Windows Server 2012r2-2019 and Windows 10.
- Execute policies and standards related to IT systems and network security protocols.
- Provide comprehensive solutions for managing desktops, workstations, servers, printers, and network hardware.
- Evaluate, install, configure, upgrade, and back up hardware and software.
- Assist with configuring file shares and linking servers to database systems.
- Utilize scripting languages to create on-line forms linking users to databases.
- Support management of remote client access.
- Monitor network traffic and make recommendations for additional resources or hardware.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a System Administrator/Server Administrator.
- Hands-on experience with Server OS (Server 2012r2-2019).
- Hands-on experience with Virtual Machine Servers (VMs).
- Experience with OS Hardening via patch management solutions like WSUS, MECM ADR, PDQ, Shavalik, or Ivanti.
- Experience with Automation via tools, services, and scripting (Batch/Powershell).
- Advanced Active Directory experience.
- Experience with Group Policy.
- Experience with Administration of file shares (NTFS and Share Permissions).
- Experience with STIG/IAVAS and the POA&M process.
- Experience with Vulnerability Assessment.
- Experience with Backup and restore processes.
- Experience with COTS software/hardware.
- A B.S. degree in Information Technology or a related field; equivalent experience may be substituted.
- CompTIA Security+ ce certification.
- An Active Secret Security Clearance.
