Zurich Canada is hiring a Data Analyst & Junior Developer for its Central Corporate Services (ZUS) department, specifically supporting Finance Operations (FinOps). In this role, you will be a direct member of the team, gaining operational insight while taking ownership of projects and process improvements related to payment processing.

What You'll Do

• Support the procedural advancement of processes using data (collection, analysis, control, and improvement) and manage resulting projects related to payment processing.
• Help establish suitable operational and strategic KPIs for data-driven process management and independently present reports to management.
• Maintain and manage existing automations and robotics processes.
• Identify new automation potential in collaboration with subject matter experts and ensure changes are adopted in work instructions and methods.
• Take on cross-functional special tasks of a strategic and procedural nature within ZUS, such as process mapping, strategy development, special topics, end-to-end process development, and digitalization.

What We're Looking For

• A goal-oriented, organized, and structured personality with a conscientious work ethic.
• A full-time student enrolled in a technically or business-oriented degree program or a comparable professional qualification.
• Strong analytical thinking and strategic foresight with an excellent understanding of cause-and-effect relationships.
• Proficient use of Power BI, Python, SQL, Excel, VBA, Microsoft Office, and other data or development tools.
• Excellent presentation and moderation skills.
• Effortless and confident communication and interaction across all hierarchical levels.
• Very good German language skills, spoken and written.

Nice to Have

• Initial experience with agentic AI like N8N and Copilot or automation software like BluePrism, Camunda, PowerApps.

Team & Environment

You will support the Central Corporate Services (ZUS) area and the Finance Operations (FinOps) department, which is responsible for the payment processing of the Zurich Group Germany.
