International SOS Government Medical Services is hiring a Data Analyst to join our team in Israel. In this role, you will assess complex data systems and programs to support management decision-making and improve healthcare delivery. Your work will directly contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of our medical services.
What You'll Do
- Examine data quality, applications, and functions to produce output and sustain operations.
- Research new data sources and analytical tools to improve insights.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports, and respond to ad-hoc data calls.
- Support MSR and other key deliverables for leadership.
- Contribute to new product development and improve product delivery and presentation.
- Develop an awareness of issues affecting the organization and its customers.
- Use and support database applications and analytical tools.
- Facilitate timely participation of users in data collection and query systems.
- Demonstrate cultural sensitivity by promoting inclusivity and respecting diverse perspectives.
- Participate in mass-casualty drills twice a year and remain available for on-call coverage.
- Complete required organizational compliance education, including client-specified requirements for certifications like Joint Commission Healthcare Staffing Services.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a data analysis role, preferably in a medical setting.
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
- Technical expertise in data models, database design, data mining, and segmentation.
- Strong knowledge of reporting packages like Business Objects, databases like SQL, and programming (XML, JavaScript, or ETL frameworks).
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS).
- Strong analytical skills to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information with accuracy.
- Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Business, Statistics, or Computer Science, or 5 years’ experience in data analysis.
- Must meet pre-deployment physical requirements.
- Valid Passport with at least 18 months before expiration; must maintain it during your stay in Israel.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a required security clearance.
- Must be able to relocate to Israel for the project duration.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English effectively.
