Astreya Partners is looking for a Data Analyst II to join our growing team of analytics experts. You will be responsible for statistical modeling, analyzing structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations.

What You'll Do

Create impactful data visualizations and dashboards
Troubleshoot and test database technical issues with the development team
Generate monthly Excel and Google Sheets files from database sources
Independently analyze data sets to identify opportunities for increased accuracy and efficiency
Perform quality assurance on data to determine potential data gaps
Handle data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
Collaborate with data and analytics experts to enhance functionality in our data systems

What We're Looking For

Bachelor’s degree and 2 to 5 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination
Ability to build productive internal and external working relationships
Strong judgment within defined procedures to determine appropriate action
Proficient SQL skills, including creating macros and dashboards
Excellent written communication skills and a high level of attention to detail
Advanced Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, macros, and chart creation
Ability to independently analyze large datasets to identify trends, gaps, and patterns
Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and command-line tools (hands-on assessment required)
Solid understanding of cloud platforms and data environments
Experience building forecasting reports and interpreting trends accurately
Experience creating dashboards with strong data visualization principles
Deep understanding of datasets, including validation, transformation, and analysis
Minimum of 2 years in a data analysis role
