Zoetis is looking for a Dairy Genetics Specialist to support dairy farmers utilizing genetic testing technology in the United States. You'll provide training, onboarding, and troubleshooting to ensure customers achieve maximum value from the platform, while also supporting related marketing initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Align with the field team to successfully onboard new genetics accounts, guiding customers through the ordering process and results reporting.
- Conduct educational training using strong presentation skills to build customer trust through reliability and follow-up.
- Manage a broad geographic area with a diverse customer base to achieve genetic sales targets.
- Develop technical and commercial knowledge, including dairy industry insights, in-depth Zoetis product knowledge, and business acumen of the local customer base.
- Act as a collaborative team player, sharing and cooperating with colleagues.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 6 months of cattle-related experience.
Nice to Have
- An undergraduate degree (BS/BA).
- Animal Health experience and knowledge of the dairy genetics industry.
Technical Stack
- Experience with herd management software such as Dairy Comp, DHI Plus, Bovisync, or PC Dart.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and online applications.
Team & Environment
This role is specific in nature but includes exposure to both sales and marketing functions to foster growth into more advanced positions. You will report to the Marketing Lead.
