Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year to support effective teaching
- Adjust instructional methods to accommodate diverse student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic performance and development
- Apply teaching strategies grounded in educational research during planning and instruction
- Maintain orderly and respectful student conduct within the classroom setting
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning atmosphere for all students
- Use approved curricula that reflect the varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds of students
- Support and uphold established school culture standards and behavioral expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic progress and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by school administration
