Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adjusting as needed throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and developmental milestones
- Apply evidence-based instructional strategies in daily planning and classroom delivery
- Oversee and guide student conduct to maintain a productive learning space
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom atmosphere conducive to learning
- Use approved curricula that reflect students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Support and uphold established school culture standards and behavioral expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic progress and social-emotional development
- Integrate technology into daily instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities when required
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and school personnel through clear communication
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by school administration
