Responsibilities
- Develop and adapt lesson plans throughout the academic year as needed
- Adjust teaching methods to support diverse student learning needs
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of student performance and growth
- Apply research-supported instructional strategies in daily classroom activities
- Maintain appropriate student behavior and classroom discipline
- Foster a supportive and constructive learning environment
- Use curricula that acknowledge students' varied cultural, linguistic, and educational backgrounds
- Enforce established school culture standards and behavioral expectations
- Engage with families to discuss student academic and social-emotional progress
- Integrate technology into instruction to enhance student learning
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school events when required
- Work collaboratively and communicate clearly with teaching and administrative staff
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration
