Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans, adjusting them as needed throughout the academic year
- Adapt teaching methods to address varied student learning needs and abilities
- Keep thorough and up-to-date records of each student's academic progress and development
- Apply instructional strategies supported by educational research in daily teaching and planning
- Oversee and guide student conduct to maintain a productive classroom atmosphere
- Foster an inclusive and encouraging learning environment for all students
- Use school-endorsed curricula that recognize students' diverse cultural, linguistic, and educational experiences
- Support and uphold established school-wide behavioral and cultural standards
- Engage with families to discuss student academic performance and social-emotional development
- Integrate digital tools and technology into everyday instruction to enhance learning outcomes
- Assist in organizing and carrying out non-instructional school activities when required
- Work cooperatively with fellow educators and staff through clear communication and teamwork
- Complete additional tasks as directed by school administration

- Must be able to pass both federal and state criminal background screenings
- Work schedule includes monitoring students in non-classroom areas such as the playground and cafeteria
