Intuitive was looking for a da Vinci Specialty Sales Manager

Intuitive is hiring a da Vinci Specialty Sales Manager. This role is pivotal in identifying and driving the adoption of new surgical procedures for the da Vinci Surgical System. You will join a small, strategic team of senior-level sales professionals focused on discovering and expanding novel techniques to fuel Intuitive's future growth.

What You'll Do

  • Develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in general, thoracic, colorectal, and head & neck surgery to expand the use of da Vinci specialty procedures.
  • Establish local case observation sites and epicenters.
  • Execute strategic market development activities with sales leadership, running all sales activities to support KOLs in advancing their da Vinci surgical proficiency.
  • Provide field and wet lab training, delivering value to the first case.
  • Deliver intra- and post-operative clinical value during initial surgical cases.
  • Act as a market information liaison to Marketing and Training teams.
  • Deliver presentations to hospital executives.
  • Enhance regional specialty sales capabilities.
  • Provide feedback to improve representatives' sales power in specific specialties, identify regional needs, and offer advice, support, and education with CSD support.
  • Leverage specialty sales resources to assist with new procedure launches.
  • Analyze trends in targeted specialty procedures, act upon them, identify challenges, and propose appropriate solutions.

  • Individually demonstrated outstanding sales performance.
  • 5+ years of medical device sales experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
  • Travel involving overnight stays: 2-3 days per week (40%-60% of the role).

Nice to Have

  • Sales experience related to the relevant surgical procedures is preferred.
