Braze is seeking a Dynamics 365 F&O Technical Architect to play a significant role in designing, developing, implementing, testing, and supporting our complete Dynamics ERP environments. Reporting to the Dynamics 365 F&O Manager, you'll define strategies and best practices for automated solutions for complex business processes at this fast-growing, purpose-driven global energy company.
What You'll Do
- Develop Dynamics 365 ERP (Finance, Supply Chain Management & Commerce) according to functional specifications and generate technical specifications.
- Work with the technical team and business users to design solutions that meet Microsoft best practices.
- Troubleshoot errors and technical issues for functional consultants and clients.
- Own the technical aspect of support tickets and work with the Application administrator.
- Own D365 F&O ISV software and integrations.
- Perform peer code reviews to ensure alignment and understanding.
- Create proof-of-concepts and vet potential ISV integrations.
- Conduct internal and business user training sessions.
- Own project deliverables by ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to budget.
- Adhere to and follow our Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
- Identify bottlenecks and design solutions to overcome them.
- Utilize and implement automation.
- When asked, lead status calls (SCRUM, etc.) and provide updates to the Project Manager.
What We're Looking For
- A solid understanding of D365FO architecture and extensibility model.
- Expertise in X++ and SQL programming languages.
- Working knowledge of .NET, C#, C++.
- Strong experience with LCS and Azure DevOps features and functionalities.
- Experience in application lifecycle management (code merging, deployments).
- Ability to generalize solutions for reusability and design frameworks.
- Ability to lead a development sub-team of full-time and sub-contractor staff.
- Ability to present technical topics in meetings with business stakeholders.
- Proficiency at developing and maintaining documentation (test cases, LOE, TDD, SOPs).
- Certification – must pass one exam (MS D365 F&O, Power Platform, or Azure) per year.
Nice to Have
- Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365: Technical Consultant Associate or equivalent.
- A BS Degree in Computer Information Systems or a relevant business area.
- 8 or more years’ experience using the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Platform (D365 F&O, D365 Supply Chain, Power apps/flow).
- Previous experience with C# and/or the .NET framework.
- Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, and team building.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills for interacting with all levels, including executive.
- Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills to manage competing demands.
- Proven ability to translate customer requirements into working code and meet project commitments.
- Full life cycle upgrade experience for Dynamics D365.
- Working knowledge of SharePoint Online, MS Platforms (Power BI, Power Apps, Flow).
- Experience with tools: Azure DevOps, Team Foundation Server or equivalent, Microsoft Project, Visio, and Office Tools.
- Ability to assess technical gaps in requirement specifications.
