About the Role
This position involves providing therapy services to individuals in the District of Columbia under a contractual agreement, using a digital platform to support client engagement and mental wellness.
Responsibilities
- Deliver individual therapy sessions to clients located in Washington, D.C.
- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in accordance with clinical standards.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records within required timeframes.
- Communicate with clients through secure messaging, video, or audio channels.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional licensing requirements.
- Respond to client messages within established response time policies.
- Collaborate with other providers when necessary for coordinated care.
- Stay current with best practices in teletherapy and mental health treatment.
- Participate in required training or onboarding activities.
- Ensure compliance with state-specific regulations for practice in D.C.
- Support clients across a range of mental health concerns including anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
- Engage in ongoing supervision or consultation as required by contract terms.
- Use digital tools to schedule, document, and deliver care efficiently.
- Uphold client confidentiality in all communications and documentation.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment as needed.
- Follow protocols for managing crisis situations and client safety.
- Maintain active licensure in good standing within the District of Columbia.
- Complete documentation promptly after each client interaction.
- Engage professionally with clients throughout the therapeutic relationship.
- Contribute to a client-centered care model through responsive and empathetic communication.
Compensation
Compensation based on contracted hourly rate for services rendered.

Independent contractor role with access to clinical support resources.
