Mudflap is hiring a Customer Support Specialist to own the overnight shift and provide exceptional service to truckers on our marketplace. You'll join a close-knit, mission-driven team providing 24/7/365 support, working remotely to solve problems confidently during the overnight hours with minimal supervision.
What You'll Do
- Own your overnight shift with minimal supervision, staying focused and proactive
- Communicate clearly and confidently with customers via phone with a warm, professional tone and empathy
- Solve problems in real-time, troubleshoot effectively, and keep customers reassured
- Thrive in a high-call environment, staying sharp, organized, and efficient
- Go above and beyond to deliver a personal, thoughtful, and effortless customer experience
- Use emotional intelligence to read customer signals and respond in creative, thoughtful ways
- Learn, accept feedback, and grow your skills and career
- Use tools like Zendesk, Slack, and internal systems comfortably
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in a remote customer support role
- Proficient with support tools like Zendesk or similar ticketing systems
- Customer-first mindset with a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment, a strong multitasker with a high sense of urgency and a hands-on, team-oriented approach
Nice to Have
- Experience ideally in fintech or tech startup environments
- Previous experience working 2nd or 3rd shift
- Bilingual: Fluency in both English and Spanish
