Role Overview
This position delivers post-sales technical leadership to drive successful implementation and sustained use of the company's platform. As a trusted advisor, you'll guide customers through each phase of adoption, ensuring technical alignment and long-term satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact, offering expert guidance to support ongoing platform utilization
- Own and resolve post-sales technical challenges by coordinating with internal teams and documenting solutions
- Guide customers through onboarding, configuration, and optimization stages using clear, practical support
- Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align customer needs with product capabilities
- Occasional travel to client sites, typically under 10%, to support critical engagements
Qualifications
A successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five years in customer-facing technical roles, preferably in networking or enterprise software
- Deep knowledge of networking and security principles, with hands-on experience across multiple vendor environments
- Proven ability to diagnose complex issues and deliver effective resolutions quickly
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with a focus on understanding customer goals and translating them into technical outcomes
- Strategic mindset with tactical execution skills, thriving in fast-moving environments
Preferred Background
- Industry certifications such as CCIE, JNCIE, or VCDX
- Experience in startup environments or high-growth technology companies
- Familiarity with API-based systems and scripting languages including Python, bash, jq, or GraphQL
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role with remote flexibility. Candidates should be based in the Eastern region of the U.S. Some travel (10–20%) may be required for customer meetings and internal collaboration.
