The Environmental Protection Authority, within Auckland Council's Waste Solutions department, is looking for a Casual Customer Services Representative. In this frontline role at the Waitakere Resource Recovery Park in Henderson, your work will directly support the smooth daily operation of the site through exceptional customer service, administrative support, and financial transactions.
What You'll Do
- Receive and direct all visitors and customers to the site.
- Assess and weigh loads, receive and receipt payments, and input data for reporting.
- Provide administrative support and relay operational information between contractors, visitors, customers, and council staff.
- Use radio and intercom communication systems for day-to-day coordination.
- Provide support to the Operations Manager and act as on-call when standing in for the Team Leader.
What We're Looking For
- Proven customer service experience in face-to-face roles.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise your workload.
- Flexibility to cover leave across a Monday to Sunday, 7-day operation.
- A reliable form of transport and a Restricted or Full New Zealand Driver's License.

You will be part of the Waitakere Resource Recovery Park team within the Waste Solutions department, reporting directly to the Weighbridge Team Leader.
