Evernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, is looking for a Customer Service Senior Representative to join our Central Nursing Team. You will independently clarify, research, and resolve non-clinical problems, primarily focusing on scheduling home infusion visits and coordinating nursing referrals to ensure accurate patient appointments.
What You'll Do
- Work with Nurse Managers, field staff, and patients to schedule home infusion visits within a regional branch network.
- Complete nurse assignments, reschedule visits based on patient availability, staff new patients appropriately, and proactively monitor all appointments for accuracy.
- Coordinate nursing referrals by collaborating with pharmacy, reimbursement, and nursing departments.
- Communicate with various staff, departments, and prescribers via fax, email, IM, and phone.
- Monitor personal and team email mailboxes, prioritizing follow-up actions.
- Manipulate multiple Excel documents to determine task urgency and completion needs.
- Respond timely to inquiries from patients, field staff, and other departments regarding nursing referrals and schedules.
- Investigate and research issues to provide resolutions.
- Take initiative in problem-solving, multitask effectively, and use critical thinking.
- Perform correct and timely data entry in appropriate systems.
What We're Looking For
- High School education or GED.
- 5+ years of relevant Customer Service experience.
- High proficiency and regular use of Excel and Outlook.
- A pro-active work ethic with the ability to be managed and trained virtually.
- Strong detail orientation.
- Excellent written and oral professional communication skills.
- Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment, learn quickly, solve problems, and make independent decisions.
