About the Role

Ameritas is hiring a Customer Service Representative to support its Group dental and vision insurance division. In this inbound call center role, you will provide essential service by communicating with healthcare providers and insured members to verify eligibility, explain plan provisions, and provide claim status.

What You'll Do

  • Communicate by phone or written correspondence with policyholders, providers, plan participants, and field partners to answer routine questions, process transactions, or resolve issues.
  • Document customer inquiries and related customer data electronically.
  • Assist service team(s) with back office support functions.
  • Protect the confidentiality of plan participants and policyholders to ensure compliance with privacy policies and procedures.
  • Support department goals by achieving established service standards and metrics.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work overtime when required to support business needs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient use of computer systems and keyboarding skills.

Nice to Have

  • 0-2 years of related experience. Contact center, customer service, dental office and/or insurance experience is highly preferred.
