Responsibilities
- Deliver steady and reliable revenue through retention-focused initiatives
- Use data-backed insights to build accurate forecasts and shape strategic direction
- Ensure consistent performance across retention programs
- Operate as a trusted advisor to clients across all areas of retention strategy
- Clearly communicate the rationale behind decisions, connecting forecasting insights to email, SMS, direct mail, and other retention touchpoints
- Act as a strong advocate for CTC’s unique retention methodology and the tools that support it
- Lead with precision and purpose, ensuring every initiative is executed to the highest standard and aligned with client objectives
- Solve complex challenges and take complete ownership of outcomes
- Develop, enhance, and scale high-impact retention programs
- Align with the team and contribute to the Brain Trust for Ideas across clients
- Manage, align, and work with team members of your pod including Growth Strategist, Meta/Google/Channel Media Buyer, and Creative Strategist
- Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks with great attention to detail
- Maintain data integrity of clients across Statlas and other tracking tools
- Be responsible for the execution of the Prophit system for clients
- Build an Email Forecast for clients
- Utilize a Growth map using the Prophet System
- Conduct data analysis during analysis of past campaigns and flows
- Align and upkeep marketing calendar with clients
- Execute and actualize monthly performance vs forecast
- Make tactical deconstructions and actualize projections each month
- Determine additional resources required to meet KPIs
- Combine data analysis and client feedback to develop strategic plans for the future
- Be among the first early adopters when it's time to pivot
- Take a lead in situations that present any obstacle to execution
- Leverage tools like memberships, subscriptions, loyalty programs, popups, quizzes, cart drawers, post-purchase upsell tools, direct mail, and more to impact retention metrics
- Maintain and manage CTC's ideologies and processes throughout the account
- Monitor active campaigns and deploy additional resources or update strategy to ensure the best possible chance of hitting projected targets
- Implement tests in accounts to beat best-performing campaigns
- Ensure deliverables are on-brand 100% of the time in collaboration with designers and copywriters
- Ensure automations, campaigns, and other retention tools have correct technical setups and work together to achieve desired business outcomes
- Ensure alignment with the client vs forecast & strategy
- Ensure above benchmark client satisfaction rate feedback
- Ensure 100% execution of the Prophit system within required timeline
- Ensure all work is delivered based on assigned timeline with optimal quality and attention to detail
- Be a champion of communication, ensuring client alignment on retention goals and revenue goals on the Growth Map
- Ensure clarity across the team on required tasks and exact deadlines
- Send daily performance updates to the client
- Ensure weekly alignment across strategy and forecast with the client
- Provide weekly updates via Slack
- Report where required, collaborating with Growth Strategists and Media Buyers
- Contribute your learnings back to the system for feedback and continuous improvement
- Contribute and collaborate in ideas and learning across teams
- Contribute to ideas and learning in future company content production
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in email and SMS marketing
- Proven execution across campaigns, automations, segmentation, and optimization
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in retention marketing
- Owning initiatives that drive predictable revenue, customer lifetime value, and ongoing lifecycle improvements
- Willingness to put in the hard work required during the kick-off period
- Being ready and prepared for this to be the hardest job you have ever worked
- Ability to take feedback and implement it fast
- Finish the work to the fullest with quality and on time
