About the Role

Cox Automotive is hiring a Customer Relationship Manager II to build and maintain external client relationships. You will ensure customer needs drive priorities and activities, leading to product utilization and client retention. This role provides day-to-day communication for the Automotive Marketing Platform (AMP) and offers strategic consultation on marketing channel execution.

What You'll Do

  • Provide proactive client relationship management as the primary point of contact for the AMP Marketing Technology Platform.
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction by consistently meeting expectations and providing a high level of service to internal and external customers.
  • Work directly and collaboratively with clients, internal teams like Product and Implementation, and other cross-functional groups.
  • Maintain an expected level of monthly client engagement to drive product utilization, performance, and minimize churn risk.
  • Conduct consultative reviews for dealership leaders, summarizing tasks, action items, and marketing opportunity analysis.
  • Leverage CRM reports to analyze email performance metrics, including opens, clicks, tasks, and vehicles sold.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to other team members on marketing trends, tactics, and experiential knowledge.
  • Handle VIP accounts, pilot programs, new feature discussions, and difficult situations with exceptional service and integrity.

What We're Looking For

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 2 years of account ownership or management experience (or an equivalent combination).
  • Effective written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Exceptional client relationship and account management experience.
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing campaigns, customer segmentation, and marketing best practices.
  • Marketing program experience, including evaluating and using digital marketing or CRM systems.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • A proactive thinker with the ability to absorb high amounts of detail.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Mental acuity to execute duties successfully to meet business and client needs.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office tools.

Nice to Have

  • Preference will be given to candidates on the Cox Automotive (CAI) Managed Services team.
  • Automotive retail – sales and fixed operations marketing experience.
