Speak is hiring a Customer Engagement Specialist - Korea

About the Role

Speak is looking for a part-time Customer Engagement Specialist (Contractor) to join our B2B team and focus on enterprise end learners in Korea. You’ll play a key role in ensuring learners activate and succeed with our product through proactive, personalized outreach.

What You'll Do

  • Engage with end learners through calls, emails, and SMS to encourage initial product activation and sustained usage.
  • Monitor learner progress towards specific usage targets and provide encouragement and support.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers to understand account-specific engagement strategies and best practices.
  • Ensure learner engagement activities and progress are accurately tracked, primarily using HubSpot.
  • Adapt and craft compelling messages and contribute to building engagement materials like call scripts, email/SMS templates, and learner-facing one-pagers.
  • Assist learners in navigating the Speak platform and overcoming initial hurdles to ensure a smooth learning experience.

What We're Looking For

  • Native/Fluent Korean Speaker.
  • Proven experience in a customer-facing role involving proactive outreach (e.g., customer support, sales development, cold calling/emailing).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in Korean.
  • Empathetic and persuasive, with the ability to connect with learners and motivate them.
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable learning and using new software (e.g., CRM systems like HubSpot).
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to manage outreach to multiple learners and track progress.
  • Collaborative spirit and eagerness to work closely with the CSM team.

Nice to Have

  • Good proficiency in English.
  • Passion for language learning, education, or L&D.
  • Experience with Figma or similar design tools.

Team & Environment

You’ll join a company of more than 90 and will partner closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) on the B2B team.

Work Mode

This is a remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Korea.
