Role Overview

In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing customer inquiries through phone and email, ensuring timely and accurate responses in line with service standards. You'll deliver clear, compliant advice on insurance offerings, drawing on a strong understanding of the services provided. The position balances customer support with performance targets, including sales generation and policy renewals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage inbound customer queries via telephone and email, resolving issues efficiently and aiming for first-contact resolution
  • Provide precise, up-to-date information based on a thorough knowledge of products and procedures
  • Make outbound calls to support customer retention and renewals
  • Meet and exceed individual and team performance goals
  • Follow all compliance and data security protocols in daily operations
  • Collaborate with team members to support shared objectives and a positive work environment
  • Engage in personal development opportunities to support long-term growth

Qualifications and Skills

A third-level qualification is highly preferred. Experience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment—particularly in customer service or call centre settings—is essential. You should have a track record of working effectively within a team, supporting peers, and maintaining motivation under pressure.

Preferred candidates will hold an APA qualification or be actively pursuing one. Strong attention to detail, accurate written and verbal communication, and solid numeracy are important. Skills in sales negotiation, decision-making, and administrative processes will support success in this role.
