Elastic is hiring a Customer Architect to serve as a Trusted Technical Advisor, driving consumption, adoption, and expansion of Elastic solutions. You will be responsible for ensuring customers derive significant value to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR).
What You'll Do
- Collaborate with the account team (Account Executive, Solutions Architect) for ongoing technical coverage and support.
- Define a technical success plan for each customer outlining optimal use of Elastic solutions to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure a successful technical customer journey from onboarding to adoption while driving consumption of Elastic solutions.
- Articulate the value proposition of Elastic solutions and align with customer's business goals.
- Work with customers to identify and eliminate technical frictions for smoother adoption.
- Liaise between customers and support to optimize the support resolution experience.
- Collaborate with the Service Team to deliver personalized, frictionless solutions.
- Develop an understanding of customer's business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Find opportunities for expansion for the account team to grow annual recurring revenue (ARR).
- Foster ongoing customer relationships to increase utilization of Elastic solutions.
- Continuously review customer consumption, proactively suggesting upgrades and enhancements.
- Work onsite with customers frequently, requiring travel.
What We're Looking For
- Fluency in German.
- Validated experience in a similar role (Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Pre-sales Engineer).
- Hands-on experience with Elastic solutions or equivalent technologies.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Strong social skills to establish relationships with customers and team members.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering innovative solutions.
- Ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience with one or more Elastic solutions (Observability, Security, Enterprise Search) or the Elastic stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
