Lola Blankets is hiring a remote Customer Account Manager to drive Nutrition business with commercial and salvage customers. The CAM is responsible for managing key accounts, developing category growth strategies, and achieving annual sales and commercial spend targets. This role is deeply involved in activating the Nutrition portfolio at strategic customers.
What You'll Do
- Manage the day-to-day responsibilities of commercial and salvage customers.
- Create and maintain strong business relationships with all buyers.
- Target and secure product expansion opportunities.
- Develop, present, and plan customers’ annual product needs.
- Create and identify partnership opportunities with customers.
- Work closely with the Sr. Director to maximize execution at store level.
- Report and effectively manage all sales expenses and budgets for the region.
- Work with the commercial development organization on customer-specific category plans.
- Present and launch New Item Plans and develop initial field forecasts.
- Identify emerging market trends and opportunities; analyze competitor activity.
- Ensure forecasting accuracy and meet sales performance targets.
- Achieve annual sales and trade targets through effective selling and negotiation.
- Engage in frequent customer interaction to implement annual plans, drive execution, and address urgent communications.
- Identify gaps between customer plans and feedback, proposing resolutions.
- Ensure achievement of agreed customer targets and Key Performance Indicators.
- Monitor, review, and drive execution of customer category plans.
- Drive category growth and exceed high performance targets.
- Drive one's own development through the adoption of capability tools.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of relevant sales experience in customer management or commercial development.
- A successful track record of delivering exceptional sales and market share gains.
- Ability to maintain and manage profitable growth to drive market share.
- Ability to influence people and create compelling, fact-based selling stories.
- Knowledge of sales fundamentals: pricing, promotion, assortment, merchandising, spoils UADs, and finance crediting.
- Knowledge of the Integrated Commercial Planning process, CAP documents, and the Monthly Business Planning Process.
- Knowledge of the customer, marketplace, and relevant channel and shopper trends.
- Understanding of the category and key competitors to develop category knowledge.
- Understanding of how to develop customer-specific category growth strategies.
- Understanding of all sales functions, customer and retail sales.
- Good knowledge of interrelationships of key company functions and their key initiatives.
- Understanding of the interaction between sales functions, cross-functional teams, customer service, and supply chain.
- Good knowledge of interrelationships of key functions: Marketing, Sales Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Technical and Globe & IS/IT.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong command of business mathematics and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and drive execution against goals.
- A fast learner who takes initiative with a “fail fast” and “fail forward” mindset.
