Mass General Brigham is looking for a CT Technologist to prepare, set up, and operate CT Scanners following physician orders to produce detailed computer-generated scans for diagnostic and interventional information. You will perform patient care tasks, ensure proper data entry, and help maintain our facilities.
What You'll Do
- Prepare, set up, and operate CT Scanners following specific physician orders.
- Produce detailed computer-generated scans for diagnostic and interventional information.
- Perform patient care tasks, including assisting patients onto the scanner and verifying identification prior to the scan.
- Enter patient information into the system from requisitions and ensure files are archived onto local media and networked to RELAY/PACS.
- Maintain facilities in proper order.
- Keep abreast of all outpatient procedures and policies within the CT Department.
- Engage in additional duties as assigned.
- Confirm the correct patient and exam through patient confirmation, interview, history, and medical record.
- Explain the exam to the patient considering individual physical, emotional, and language needs.
- Adjust scanners and injectors to correct settings for all exams.
- Perform required imaging using the appropriate equipment according to department protocol and/or Radiologist request.
- Ensure exams are labeled correctly prior to transmission to PACS.
- Adhere to all departmental and hospital policies.
What We're Looking For
- Certificate or Diploma in Radiologic Science
- ARRT or NMTCB Registry
- Massachusetts State license
- CT Registry required within 1 year
- BLS certification required within 90 days
Nice to Have
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Science

- Compensation: $31.35 - $46.91 per hour
