Appfire is hiring a CSR & Social Impact Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating and administering CSR programs and activities
  • Program support such as managing tools, platforms, and documentation related to CSR
  • Serving as first point of contact for employee questions and requests
  • Collecting and organizing participation and impact information
  • Ensuring programs are run in alignment with our established policies and guidance
  • Recruiting employees as participants by highlighting opportunities to get involved and proactively approaching teams about volunteering or engagement opportunities that may be a good fit
  • Supporting logistics for events such as hackathons, volunteering experiences, and donation campaigns
  • Identifying and researching potential nonprofit partners and opportunities aligned with program goals
  • Communicating with nonprofit organizations to explore collaboration opportunities
  • Helping evaluate which opportunities are feasible and meaningful for employees based on location, logistics, and impact
  • Coordinating logistics and documentation for nonprofit partnerships, including due diligence, risk assessment, and contract processes
  • Contributing ideas for creative and engaging volunteering opportunities, campaigns, and community activities
  • Supporting the development of skilled-volunteering opportunities as the program grows
  • Helping shape activities so they are practical, impactful, and aligned with employee interests

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and timelines effectively
  • High attention to detail and comfort following defined processes, with the ability to navigate some ambiguity and make sound decisions within established guidelines
  • Ability to work independently and manage and prioritize multiple requests and timelines in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including clear, empathetic communication with employees and partners
  • Collaborative working style and proactive communication within a team environment
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving ability, particularly when assessing feasibility and logistical considerations
  • Initiative and curiosity in identifying new opportunities for partnerships or engagement
  • Comfortable working with systems, tools, and documentation
  • A positive, service-oriented mindset with a focus on reliability, responsiveness, and follow-through
  • Ability to recognize and escalate risks or issues promptly
  • Interest in developing deeper expertise in CSR programming, nonprofit partnerships, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal

Nice to Have

  • Other languages a plus
  • First experience in social impact, non-profit, foundation, sustainability, or similar work
