Journey Beyond is hiring a Casual Cruise Attendant to join our Marine Team in Airlie Beach. You’ll be responsible for ensuring guests enjoy exceptional experiences on our range of cruise products in the Whitsundays. This hands-on role blends guest service, safety, and operational duties to create memorable journeys.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist guests onboard while prioritising their experience and safety.
- Deliver exceptional food and beverage service.
- Conduct safety briefings and presentations.
- Maintain stock control and perform daily reconciliations of consumables.
- Uphold vessel housekeeping and cleanliness standards.
What We're Looking For
- Strong guest service skills and proven experience.
- A reliable, self-motivated, and proactive approach.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to high standards.
- Intermediate to advanced swimming abilities.
- The capability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Elements of Shipboard Safety / GPH qualification or higher.
- QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol certification.
- QLD Working with Children's Check (Blue Card).
- A current National Police Check.
- Provide First Aid, CPR and Advanced Oxygen Therapy certification.
Nice to Have
- Hospitality qualifications and previous marine experience are highly regarded.
- Bronze Medallion and crowd management certificates are highly regarded.
