Responsibilities
- Help develop and organize Salona’s Croatian Heritage Services
- Coordinate personalized heritage and ancestral village experiences in Croatia
- Research and build relationships with local partners, guides, translators, genealogists, and regional contacts
- Assist with organizing family heritage visits and Croatia reconnection experiences
- Help structure cultural, historical, and educational experiences for clients
- Coordinate and help develop introductory Croatia-related courses and educational materials
- Assist with developing Croatian culture, history, heritage, and beginner language learning initiatives for diaspora communities
- Help create and organize workshops, webinars, or online educational content related to Croatia and Croatian heritage
- Support the long-term development of this new area of the company together with management
Requirements
- Strong interest in Croatian heritage, culture, history, and diaspora communities
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- Fluent English and Croatian required
- Comfortable working independently and building new initiatives from the ground up
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Creative, proactive, and culturally sensitive mindset
Nice to Have
- Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred
- Experience in tourism, cultural organizations, education, genealogy, events, hospitality, or project coordination is a plus
