Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is looking for a Critical Facilities Maintenance Engineer for the 3rd shift. You will be responsible for delivering best practice systems and problem resolution for all data center electrical and mechanical infrastructure. You'll join a JLL engineering and facilities management team operating at a client data center site.
What You'll Do
- Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems to maintain 100% Up-time.
- Monitor and maintain fire/life safety, mechanical systems (HVAC, chillers, CRAC, CRAH, plumbing, controls), electrical systems (lighting, UPS, ATS, STS, PDU, generators, primary switchgear, power distribution, transformers), and hot water systems.
- Monitor operation, adjust, and maintain refrigeration, chilled water, and air conditioning equipment; boilers, and ventilating and water heaters; pumps, valves, piping, and filters.
- Record readings and make adjustments to ensure proper operation of equipment.
- Analyze the operation of various systems, determine the cause of any problems/malfunctions and take corrective action.
- Comply with departmental policy for the safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Learn and understand the data center site to manage incidents and events that put critical systems at risk.
- Manage work orders, including CMMS, Vendor Management, and Customer Facing Tickets.
- Understand and comply with emergency escalation procedures.
- Perform additional job duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1+ years of hands-on work experience operating and maintaining critical data center infrastructure, equipment, and systems.
- 1+ years of experience with CRAHs, AHUs, & central utility/chiller plant equipment OR UPS, emergency generators, switchgears equipment.
- Working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.
- Demonstrated verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and/or a Building Management System (BMS).
Nice to Have
- Trade school education, union training, military service, or college education.
- Experience with Corrigo.
- Completion of EPA 608/Universal certification.
- Trained in NFPA70E.

You will report to the Sr. Chief Engineer.
