Centerstone is looking for a Crisis Care Consultant to join our 24/7/365 high-volume call team focused on suicide prevention. In this role, you will be responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, safety planning, crisis intervention, and service linkage for individuals experiencing an acute mental health crisis.
What You'll Do
- Provide telephonic clinical screenings, risk assessments, means restriction, and crisis intervention to callers.
- Conduct outreach calls to individuals assessed by mobile crisis to promote safety.
- Meet ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation.
- Attend team meetings, in-service training, supervision, and other quality assurance training.
- Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette.
- Provide service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources.
- Promote a departmental culture of cooperation and collaboration with other departments, community agencies, hospitals, mental health consumers, and the public.
- Assist in administrative tasks as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
- Certified Peer Recovery Specialist certification.
Nice to Have
- One year of relevant experience.
