Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive qualitative and quantitative assessments of credit risk for corporate and financial institutions.
- Develop well-structured, actionable credit evaluations including risk ratings, exposure limits, and strategic recommendations.
- Oversee and update credit risk indicators such as probability of default, ratings, exposure limits, and utilisation levels to maintain portfolio integrity.
- Detect early signs of financial stress and recommend preventive measures like collateral requirements, prepayment terms, or exposure adjustments.
- Participate in sector-wide evaluations, portfolio reviews, stress tests, and scenario modeling exercises.
- Assist in recovery strategies and restructuring initiatives for counterparties experiencing financial difficulties, in coordination with internal stakeholders.
- Track changes in exposure levels and forecast potential breaches of credit limits, initiating timely escalations.
- Contribute to regular credit risk reporting cycles on daily, weekly, and monthly bases.
- Communicate credit risk perspectives in internal meetings and decision-making forums.
- Support administration of credit insurance programs, including limit tracking and periodic submissions.
- Promote understanding of credit risk methodologies and advanced tools across the organization.
- Engage in efforts to automate and digitize credit risk processes, including data handling, analysis, and reporting workflows.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools such as Excel models, Power BI, Python, SQL, VBA, low-code platforms, and AI to minimize manual work.
- Enhance the accuracy and consistency of credit analysis through the application of automation and data science techniques.
- Strengthen portfolio monitoring and early warning systems using advanced analytics.
- Collaborate with Credit, IT, and Digital Transformation teams to implement scalable analytical solutions within the Credit Shared Competence Center.
